It tells the story of three very different families who compete to buy the same 1920s Spanish-style villa that they believe will solve all their problems, guess why!? I would give it an 8.5 if possible. I ran it over a 24 hour period. Ok, a bit cheesy at times, but I really like the casting and acting, it feels warm and sincere, and the murder mystery is interesting enough with a little twist without everything being sad and miserable. The story is light and entertaining, but there is a certain amount of darkness due to the main plot. Like a nice but not too showy piece of dark chocolate covered in strawberry frosting. Give it a try and you won’t be disappointed. Don’t expect crime drama or genuine realism. This is a delightful comedy with a dark footnote. "One Hundred Years of Solitude" is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month. Check out our December calendar for more!
