Long (Hiệp Trần Nghĩa), a Vietnamese driver from Southern California, responds to a late-night call for a ride. Already in his pajamas, he reluctantly agrees and takes care of a man, Tây (Dustin Nguyen), and his two companions. But the men, inmates who have just escaped from an Orange County prison, take Long hostage at gunpoint, pressuring him to participate in their escape plan. When complications arise, the escapees and their hostage take refuge in a motel, where an agonizing wait begins.
